Modular training in Microsoft’s ecosystem
Microsoft Learn organises training into modules and learning paths. Our catalogue currently includes Python fundamentals, relational data on Azure, and Azure AI applications and agents.
This format is useful to investigate when you want a focused topic or a product-oriented route. Compare the module outline with a concrete task you want to perform, rather than treating every path as a complete professional programme.
Access, profiles and progress
Microsoft says Learn training is free. A profile is optional for reading and is used to track progress and achievements. Those achievements are different from Microsoft professional credentials.
If your goal is an exam or applied credential, verify that credential’s current requirements separately. Completing a reading path does not automatically satisfy a separate assessment.
Choose a starting route
Begin with Python fundamentals if you need practice with the language. Use relational-data fundamentals to explore concepts and Azure service choices. The AI path expects basic computing and Python.
Our suggested habit is to write a short explanation of what each module enables you to do and what still requires independent practice. Save questions about unfamiliar services for a focused follow-up.
Plan for practical resources
Reading a module is different from provisioning cloud services. Follow the current exercise instructions and check whether an account, permissions or billable resources are required before creating anything.
For an independent project, decide what you will test and how you will remove unused resources afterward. These are project-planning suggestions, not a claim that every listed path includes a free sandbox.
When to choose an alternative
If you want a larger course with a final programming project, compare CS50. If you want repeated data exercises, compare DataCamp. Use the course details to make that decision; no platform-wide teaching score is claimed here.
