OUR EDITORIAL APPROACH

Know what a course guide is based on.

StealCourse helps you compare learning options before committing time or money. Our current guides use official public information and clearly labelled editorial reasoning. They are not reports of completing the courses.

What we look for

We check the course’s purpose, intended starting point, curriculum, practice, learning format and access arrangements. We separate the platform selling access from the organisation or instructor creating the course.

Useful comparisons explain a trade-off: a broad foundation versus a focused skill, guided exercises versus independent projects, or an individual purchase versus recurring access.

Facts, advice and experience

A source-based fact describes what an official source supports. A fit suggestion explains our reasoning from those facts. A hands-on review would require actual access, a named reviewer and a clear record of what was tested. No hands-on reviews or learner ratings are currently published.

Time and credentials

Lecture duration measures playback. Estimated study time includes other activities and varies by learner. A course organised into weeks is not a promise that you will finish on that calendar. We keep these descriptions separate.

A completion certificate, a professional certification, an exam and academic credit are different outcomes. We identify the verified credential details and direct you to the current provider requirements.

Missing or conflicting information

Unknown details remain unverified. If a provider gives conflicting time estimates or different access options, we describe the distinction rather than selecting a convenient number. Source links and dates help you inspect the evidence.

Prices, affiliate links and independence

Our buying context is the United States and USD. A price needs verified billing, market and eligibility information; a regional promotion is not a universal price. Source links lead directly to official information. Marked affiliate links may pass through a network before reaching a provider. We may earn a commission when you make a qualifying purchase through one. This relationship is disclosed beside the links. A promotions link is an invitation to read the provider’s current terms, not a promise of a discount. No checkout-tested coupon is currently published.

Commercial relationships must not determine editorial scores. Affiliate relationships do not justify invented experience or favourable claims. We select and describe learning options by their purpose and documented features; a commission does not establish quality or suitability.

Images and presentation

StealCourse logos and interface icons use scalable SVG artwork. Scout mascot images are owner-supplied transparent illustrations uploaded to the WordPress media library. Contextual topic images are original AI-generated scene illustrations. They are not provider logos, official course covers, instructor photographs or evidence of participation. Provider logos and website screenshots are owner-supplied media, matched and approved in WordPress. Small logo originals stay small to preserve sharpness. Screenshots illustrate a provider’s website at capture time; prices, promotions, ratings and features visible inside them are the provider’s presentation and may differ from current US terms. Check the linked official source before buying. These images do not establish a partnership, endorsement or hands-on product test.

Update policy

A checked date records the latest documented editorial check, not a course-completion date or an automatic freshness claim. Revisions are made when sources change or a supported correction identifies a problem. We prioritise errors that affect prerequisites, access, cost and credentials. We do not claim that every page is monitored daily.

When evidence is insufficient, the detail stays unverified. A page that no longer meets its publication requirements is withheld from the public catalogue and sitemap until reviewed.

Corrections

Course details and access terms can change. If you spot an error, send the page address, the disputed detail and an official supporting source to support@stealcourse.com. Corrections require evidence and editorial review.
