Consider this path when you want an introduction to relational-data concepts and Azure’s database options. If your immediate goal is to write many SQL queries, compare a query-focused course alongside it.
Our suggested exercise is to describe a small application’s data needs before selecting a service. Explain what information must stay consistent and what relationships matter.
Use a comparison notebook
For each service you encounter, record the use case, operational responsibilities and questions you still need to answer. Avoid choosing only because a product name appears in a familiar tutorial.
This is a conceptual starting point. An independent implementation exercise can help reveal the gap between recognising a service and operating it.
