Learning and access

Start with a subject and level that match your experience. Check the free chapter before choosing wider library access, and distinguish learning practice from any separate credential requirements.

YOUR DECISION GUIDE

Learn through focused practice

DataCamp’s catalogue includes guided data and programming courses. Our selection follows a practical progression: Python basics, intermediate Python analysis and an introduction to SQL.

Consider this format if shorter exercises suit your routine. Our recommendation is to add a small independent task after a guided lesson so you can check whether you can apply the idea without hints.

Course, track and certification are different

A course focuses on a particular set of topics. A track groups learning into a broader route. A statement of accomplishment records course completion; a professional certification has its own requirements.

Choose the learning task first. For example, reading a table, writing a query and selecting a useful plot are concrete skills to investigate before choosing a credential-oriented route.

Free and Premium access

The current individual-plan support page describes limited free introductory access and Premium access to the learning library. It specifically excludes the standalone AI Engineering track add-on from Premium.

Check the format and content available to your account. Do not assume a free-start button opens an entire course or that every DataCamp product is included in a single subscription.

A useful progression

Start with Introduction to Python if variables and lists are new. Continue to Intermediate Python when you are ready for DataFrames, plots and control flow. Add SQL when you want to query relational tables.

Our suggested capstone is a small analysis you can explain from input to conclusion. Keep a record of transformations and assumptions rather than showing only a polished chart.

Time estimates, renewal and support

Treat course time labels as study estimates. The SQL page currently shows differing estimates for its format choices, so confirm the version you select.

Premium is a recurring subscription. Review your billing period and cancellation instructions with DataCamp; contact its support for account or payment issues. StealCourse handles corrections to its own guides.
