Who should consider Plus?

Consider a library subscription when you have several included courses you genuinely plan to study. For a single short goal, compare the access route offered on the individual course page before assuming a subscription is better value.

Our suggested method is to make a shortlist first, confirm inclusion second and choose a billing period last. A large catalogue is useful only if it contains the learning you will actually use.

Confirm the specific programmes

Plus is an included selection of Coursera learning. A university or company appearing on Coursera does not mean every one of its programmes is included.

Open each intended course while viewing your own account’s offer. Check the inclusion indicator and assessment access. Keep the course URLs with your shortlist so similarly named programmes do not get confused.

Trial, renewal and certificate questions

Check the precise trial or refund terms offered at checkout. Do not treat a trial and a money-back arrangement as the same thing. A trial can convert into a paid subscription unless cancelled under its conditions.

The plan page says certificates are earned after the trial ends. Confirm the assessment requirements and certificate access for your chosen course. This guide does not publish a redeemable promotion or guarantee trial eligibility.

A practical cost comparison

For a US purchase, compare the final USD charge, billing period, taxes and renewal terms shown to your account. Our research returned different regional and promotional displays, so we have not published a universal price.

An annual amount displayed as a monthly equivalent is not necessarily billed monthly. Compare the total amount due today and the commitment you are making, then keep the confirmation.

Before you leave checkout

Record the renewal date and cancellation route. If you already have another course subscription, check its billing separately rather than assuming Plus cancels it.
